What is SmartRuler?
SmartRuler is an AR measuring app for iPhone and Android that turns your phone camera into a tape measure and a full measuring toolkit. Point your phone at a floor, wall or object, tap to place points, and SmartRuler shows the length, angle, area or volume right on the live camera view. It also includes everyday tools like a compass, a level, an on-screen ruler and a ring sizer, so one app can replace several things in your toolbox. How SmartRuler works

Choose a tool
Pick Line, Angles, Polygon, Cuboid or any other tool from the tools screen.

Scan the surface
Point your camera at the floor, wall or object and move your phone slowly until SmartRuler detects it.

Place your points
Tap where the measurement starts, then tap again at each next point.

Read and save
The result appears in centimeters or inches over the camera view. Save a photo to a project folder or share it.

What you can measure with SmartRuler
Room dimensions
Measure every wall in a row with chain measurements and let SmartRuler work out the floor area for flooring, paint or tiles. Box preview shows how much space a sofa or wardrobe will take up before you buy it.
Floor plans from a room scan
Scan a room to create a floor plan, then use it to plan a furniture layout or share exact dimensions with a designer or contractor.
Ring size

Compass directions
